Jerez de la Frontera

Jerez de la Frontera, normally called Jerez, is a city in southern Spain, in the region of Andalusia. Its old town surrounds the Alcazar de Jerez, a Moorish fortress founded in the 11th century. The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art is a famous riding school with equestrian shows and a carriage museum. The city is also known for flamenco music and the production of sherry in the so-called Triangle of Jerez located to the west.
